Welcome to Initial Teacher Training – The Arch Alliance
The Arch Development Hub is an innovative multi School Alliance. All Souls’ CE Primary is a very experienced ITT lead school for a group of schools working together within Heywood and beyond which is incorporated in the Rochdale Local Authority. We are focused upon providing an outstanding experience for trainee teachers within our schools. We provide a School Direct PGCE Primary and Early Years programme which offers unique enhancement training across our schools throughout the PGCE year.
We have outstanding teaching staff who can provide those necessary experiences and models to mould your future teaching career. Experienced staff will provide a bespoke mentoring programme and the lead school will offer a personal contact should you need additional guidance or support. Within your tutor group, you will engage in preparation for, and reflection of, your professional practices and plan next steps.
We work closely with Edge Hill University and other strategic partners within Early Years, SEN and High School to ensure that you are able to develop your teaching practice to enhance your academic, research and understanding of teaching and learning.
The Arch Development Hub in conjunction with Edge Hill University and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) through the School Direct approach offers access to the highest quality of training and support.
